2nd Annual Fall FUN(d) Raising Party

Our 2^nd Annual Fall Fun(d) Raising Party on Saturday, September 30 was a success!

1. Our 30+ participants enjoyed great weather and lots of foods of many kinds, with dinner of pulled smoked chicken and lots of beverages of all kinds, including our 2015 Altered States Apple Wine.
2. Many went on tours of our vineyard and developing apple orchard. We all had a great time meeting so many interesting new people and connecting with old friends!

The following donations were made to our 3 Charities:

• $690.00 ( People Serving People )
• $745.00 ( Habitat For Humanity of Minnesota )
• $966.00 ( Central Asia Institute )

For a total of $2,401.00, which we matched, for a total of $4,802.00! This was mailed out on October 5, and we expect to post receipts from our 3 charities within 2 weeks.

Additionally, we had a small harvest of 780 pounds of Prairie Star grapes on September 24, which we sold to a local winery, for an  income of $546.00. We donated the entire amount to our 3 charities also.

We will post a News message once all 3 of our charities have sent us receipts for posting, along with a final message for 2017.
