Join Us for Our 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Party!

We have had a good year with our Prairie Star grape vines and Dwarf Honeycrisp apple trees.

We are excited to confirm that we will be having our  2nd Annual Fall Fun(d) Raising Party on Saturday, September 30, starting at 2:00 P.M. and going until it ends.

We will have Fun, with lots of yard games, tours of the vineyard and apple orchard with dinner starting around 5:00 or so. We will have a bean bag (corn hole!) team contests, bocce ball contests, and volleyball for those so inclined.

We will be serving pulled smoked chicken sandwiches and salad for dinner, along with a variety of beverages, including our Altered States Apple Wine.

We invite you and any friends who you may want to join us!

Please bring something to share such as an appetizer, or anything that comes to mind – such a bag of chips… anything!

Our goal to raise awareness of and donations to our 3 great charities:

People Serving People: Minneapolis, helping homeless families get their lives back on a productive and fulfilling track.

Habitat For Humanity of Minnesota: helping working low income families obtain quality affordable housing, stabilizing our community in Minnesota.

Central Asia Institute: providing education for mainly girls in Afghsnistan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, helping to break the cycle of ignorance and violence in that region.

Toward that goal, we ask that each of us plan to make a donation by check, to one of these charities, for any amount that you would like. We will give each person that donates a bottle of our most excellent Altered States Apple 2015 wine, along with our personal match of each donation 1 for 1. In other words your donation doubles! You will receive a donation receipt in your name for your donation (imagine that tax-deduction!).

Most importantly, you will thru this fun party:

  1. Have a great time meeting people as nice as you! (Can you imagine that !)
  2. Play exciting games, possibly winning some unusual prizes!
  3. Helping to make our local, state, and international world a healthier, happier, less violent, and loving place!

We firmly believe that what each of us does can have profound effects on others, and that what we are doing with this party and with Lost Creek Hippies Vineyard each year has and will continue to make our world better.

If you plan to join us, whether you have volunteered for planting or harvests in the past, attended our party last year, or have not been out to meet us yet, just set the date talk to your friends or family to join you and give me, Jim a call at 763-354-0880. I will fill you in on directions and any questions. We are in Pepin, Wisconsin – about 95 miles or 1 and ¾ hours from Anoka (a beautiful Fall drive along Lake Pepin).

Peace and Charity,

Lost Creek Hippies Vineyard
