Another Successful – and LAST Planting!
Summer has arrived here at Lost Creek Hippies Vineyard. Our newly planted Prairie Star vines are healthy and sprouting out
of their grow tubes. Our young and mature Marquette vines are also very healthy and we should have a good crop in the fall of 2014.
Our estimated harvest date will be Sept 27 or Oct 4, but this could change, due to the weather.
As all you know, we had a fun planting on May 31, the music by Connie, Dan, and Herb was terrific (we hope they come back for the harvest!). This year we contributed $10 for each volunteer that helped with the planting to each of our three
charities, totaling a $900 donation spread out across our 3 charities – their receipts are posted in our Financial Section for anyone to view publicly.
As we are doing well, our 3 charities are also and for that we have you to thank! For example check out:
Habitat For Humanities of Minnesota they now have over 3,700 homes constructed and occupied by families, who now have a better life, and are spreading their success to their families and friends. Our communities locally, state-wise, and internationally are improving as a result our our efforts… we can and should feel proud.
Hope to see all who can make it to our harvest celebration in the Fall. Have a great and safe Summer, and don’t hesitate to visit us if you’re down our way!
Peace and Charity,
