Habitat For Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota
Helping strengthen communities and empower deserving low-income residents to achieve homeownership through safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota is a statewide resource development and support organization that serves, advocates for, and advances the work of Minnesota’s Habitat for Humanity affiliates.
Together, these affiliates help build simple, decent, and affordable housing in partnership with people in need.
Created under the umbrella of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota was organized by Minnesota affiliates and remains accountable to them. As a support organization, it works to identify and serve the needs of Habitat affiliates across the state as they pursue the shared mission of creating safe, affordable housing opportunities.
Established in October 1997, Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors representing a diverse cross-section of affiliates throughout the state, including both urban and rural communities, as well as staffed and volunteer-led organizations.
